On March 20, 2026, Lawyer Oumeixin, Partner of Guangdong Wumei Law Firm, attended the special event Women’s Rights Protection in Cyberspace Exchange Day as a representative of Guangzhou Lawyers Association. Co-hosted by Guangzhou Internet Court and Guangzhou Women’s Federation, the event gathered court staff, representatives of the Women’s Federation and legal peers to discuss practices and innovations in women’s rights protection.
During the event, participating guests conducted in-depth exchanges on prominent issues confronted by women in cyberspace, including online violence, personal information leakage, and workplace gender discrimination. Drawing on profound professional experience in marriage and family law, Lawyer Oumeixin analyzed severe psychological trauma inflicted on women by online violence from a judicial practice perspective. She elaborated on psychological comfort and legal remedies for affected women, and put forward targeted suggestions based on practical case experience.
