Wumei Law Actively Participated in the 2019 Annual Conference of the
Marriage Law Research Association of Guangdong Law Society
The 2019 Annual Conference of the Marriage Law Research Association of Guangdong Law Society, themed The 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China: Retrospect and Prospect of Marriage and Family Law, was successfully held at South China University of Technology on the morning of November 24, 2019. Li Xiaofei, Huang Xiaoying, Lu Junfeng, Oumeixin, lawyers from Guangdong Wumei Law Firm, together with a number of legal assistants of the firm, actively attended the conference.
The conference conducted the re-election of the President, Vice Presidents and Deputy Secretary-General, as well as the by-election of directors. Director Li Xiaofei of our firm was elected as Executive Director.
A large number of participants submitted papers for the annual conference paper selection, and a total of 64 papers were included in the proceedings. The joint paper Changes and Reforms of the Marital Property System Since the Founding of New China co-authored by Lawyer Li Xiaofei and Lawyer Huang Xiaoying of our firm won the Second Prize in the Outstanding Paper Selection of the 2019 Annual Conference of Marriage Law with the theme The 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China: Retrospect and Prospect of Marriage and Family Law.
In addition, the paper A Brief Analysis on the Practical Application of Voluntary Guardianship in the Field of Family Affairs by Lawyer Lu Junfeng and the paper On the Construction of the Legal System for Minors Against Domestic Violence by Lawyer Oumeixin were both included in the conference proceedings.
