Lawyer Li Xiaofei Invited to Deliver Special Lecture on the Civil Code at Panyu District Women's Federation

On the morning of August 12, 2020, the Panyu District Women's Federation held a training lecture on the popularization of the Civil Code. The event invited Lawyer Li Xiaofei from our firm to deliver an on-site tutoring lecture on relevant theoretical knowledge of the Civil Code.

 

 

Drawing on over 20 years of legal practice experience, Lawyer Li elaborated on the background, significance and highlights of the promulgation of the Civil Code. With case-based interpretation, she focused on explaining legal provisions closely related to women’s rights and ordinary people’s daily life, such as the Marriage and Family Book and the Inheritance Book of the Civil Code. The lecture was rich in content, illustrated with vivid cases, and enjoyed a lively atmosphere.

After the lecture, Lawyer Li had interactive exchanges with the participants. Attendees all remarked that they had benefited greatly from the session. They expressed that in their future work, they would thoroughly study, publicize and implement the Civil Code, fully advance the protection of women and children’s rights and interests, prevent and mediate marital and family disputes, and guide women to actively use legal tools to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.
